The London Cycling Club does not have a designated rider and we advise that you bring your own kit.
Most of your injuries are going to be scrapes and bruises. It is suggested to carry the following:

Tire pressure should be checked and topped to the recommended pressure before each ride. Even on multiple days in a row. A typical racing tire at 120 psi can lose
5 psi over 100 + km, more if the roads are unusually bumpy. Air temperature and surface temperature plays a role in tire deflation. The hotter it is the more the tire deflates.

Yes we do. We take a break around halfway through the ride, typically at a restaurant or caf, though sometimes we simply stop at a variety store. Sometimes there may be a community event on our route and we try to support those events by stopping there. Breaks are usually kept to 20-30 minutes in length, which is ample time to eat
something, refill water bottles, and use the restrooms, as well as socialize with fellow riders. If you wish to shorten the break, either to ride with an earlier arriving group
or to ride alone, please notify your group leader of this.
