London Cycling Club Mission Statement

The London Cycling Club (LCC) is an all inclusive, not for profit recreational cycling club. We encourage participation in group riding, promote education, safety and public awareness in the sport of cycling through planned rides and other cycling related activities.
We fully support and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle in our community while promoting cycling as an option and practical means of transportation.

Cycling is an Olympic sport and cycling events are broadcasted and analyzed by sports analysts on sites like this. Surely the popularity of the sport is now at an all-time high and starting doing it is now as easy as it can be./span>

Values: Respect - Inclusiveness - Responsible - Honesty - Integrity

We are a touring club and our members use road bicycles to ride distances between 45 km to 130 km on a morning tour, with average speeds between 20 km/h to 35 km/h. See the Ride with us page for more information on how our tours are organized.

Our touring season is from April through October. During this time we have tours every Saturday and Sunday as well as on holiday Mondays. See the Club Rides page for more information. There is usually a weekend destination ride held where Club Members visit a remote location for a weekend of social riding Overnight Tours .

We also host social events for our members ( LCC Calendar ) including a spring kick-off brunch, an Annual General Meeting, Christmas get-together, and a New Years Day hike. Members are also allowed to join the LCC's Facebook page.

We are an Ontario Cycling Association affiliated club, which means members carry General Liability Insurance. We have a number of policies which members are required to be aware of as part of joining. Long time members may want to refresh themselves on these policies as well, as they do change from time to time. This page also has an OCA Incident Report for you to fill out if you are in an incident while on a London Cycling Club ride.
