Welcome to the London Cycling Club!
The London Cycling Club is a volunteer-based non-profit organization for recreational bicycling based in London, Ontario, Canada. We have been in operation since 1971. We value the health, lifestyle and social aspects of cycling.
We are a touring club and our members use road bicycles to ride distances between 45 km to 130 km on a morning tour, with average speeds between 20 km/h to 35 km/h. See the Riding with Us page for more information on how our tours are organized. Our touring season is from April through October. During this time, we have tours every Saturday and Sunday, as well as on holiday Mondays. There is usually a weekend destination ride held in May or June. See the Club Tours page for more information.
We also host social events for our members (see News / Upcoming Events ) including a spring kick-off brunch, summer picnic, an Annual General Meeting, Christmas get-together, and a New Years Day hike. On the first Tuesday of each month, we have a Pub Meet, which is a light-hearted way of getting together outside of biking. Members are also allowed to join the LCC's Facebook page.
We are an Ontario Cycling Association affiliated club, which means members carry General Liability Insurance. We have a number of policies which members are required to be aware of as part of joining. Long time members may want to refresh themselves on these policies as well, as they do change from time to time. This page also has an OCA Incident Report for you to fill out if you are in an incident while on a London Cycling Club ride.
